Saturday's are meant for shopping . . .

Hello, fellow fashionistas!  I spent this beautiful day doing what makes me happy - shopping!  I started out in Fairhope, AL where I met my fashionable friend for her birthday lunch.  Her choice was Panini Pete's and I have to say she chose well.  We both had the special which was a pannini full of tomatoes (including green ones), bacon, fresh mozzarella cheese and a garlic aioli sauce.  It was divine!  Pannini Pete's is a definite must when going to Fairhope!

Our big score of the day came when we happened upon Shoefly, a shoe boutique.  They were having a clearance sale and all shoes were $5 - $30!  I bought three pair!

This is the first pair I decided on.  The brand is Cocobelle and the retail price was $72.00.  I got them for $15.  It's hard to tell from the picture, but there is a snake print on the leather.  These shoes are very versatile.  The color is natural but the snake print is a gray/black combination.  So, you can wear these with browns, blacks, navy blue, pink, etc.  I put them on after I bought them and they went well with the white linen dress I was wearing.  And they are so comfortable!
The second pair I chose are black and white striped, peep toe, sling back wedges.  That's kind of a mouth-full!  The brand is Bidi and the retail price is $62.  Again, I paid $15.  The wedge is made out of a braided straw-like material.  These would be very cute with a red dress.  I'm going to wear them with crisp white pants and a black sleeveless draped-neck cotton shirt.  I can't wait!

And finally, these are the third pair I chose.  The brand is Very Volatile and the retail price is $84.  I paid $20.  I really like the thick heel on these shoes.  I need all the stability I can get!  I can't make up my mind what I'm going to pair these with, but at $20 who cares?!  I'm sure I can find something.  :)

But, my shopping day doesn't end there.  My VFS (Very Fashionable Sister) called me as I was leaving Fairhope.  She was having an FE (Fashion Emergency) and needed my help!  So I made my way to the ESC (Eastern Shore Center) to meet her at CC (Charming Charlie's).  Ok - enough with the acronyms.  Anyway, she needed my help in accessorizing her twin daughter's homecoming dresses and I was happy to oblige.  Homecoming is next weekend.  I don't want to give away any of their surprises so I will wait until then to post pictures.

All in all, I had a wonderful day of shopping.  I enjoyed seeing all the new fall shoes and boots that were on display everywhere.  Maybe I'll include some of my favorites in my next post.

Until then, stay stylish y'all!

  2. Do you ever look at urban outfitter's online ? I love fashion to but my style is kinda um punk glam :) I love designer bags , a good classic Tiffany's necklace but I may pair this all with Toms or Hunter boots in the city they call us Hipsters . I have some heel boots and unlike ya'll we get to wear them everyday in the Winter. Still I ride the subway to the hospital so I have to be practical in the snow so I do a Micheal Kors , Uggs, or a Kenneth Cole black boot with a chunky wedge heel. I love your style though so classic , delightful , a true Belle !
